Vibia's Mayfair pendant lamp is designer and artist Diego Fortunato's contemporary interpretation of 19th-century lamp designs traditionally used to illuminate billiards tables. The light emitted by Mayfair is mainly directed downwards, but thanks to the opening in the metal shade, some light also escapes up toward the ceiling. The lamp's colour temperature is a pleasant warm white, making it well suited for being hung over a dining table to illuminate cosy meals and conversations. Mayfair is also easy to envision in various public settings, such as a library, office or perhaps a hotel room. The Mayfair lamp collection was awarded the Good Design Award in 2017.
